Political Landscape: 48th Congressional District candidate debate set for Jan. 13

HB Huddle, a Huntington Beach-based political activist group, will present a debate Jan. 13 featuring Democratic candidates for the 48th Congressional District seat now held by Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-Costa Mesa).

The event will be from 9:30 a.m. to noon at Harbour View Elementary School, 4343 Pickwick Circle, Huntington Beach.

Candidates Hans Keirstead, Laura Oatman, Harley Rouda and Omar Siddiqui are scheduled to appear.

Rep. Alan Lowenthal (D-Long Beach) and his son Josh Lowenthal, a Democrat from Huntington Beach and candidate for the 72nd state Assembly District, will moderate the debate.
