STREET CLOSURES

Starting at 5 a.m., Pacific Coast Highway from Goldenwest Street to Beach Boulevard will be closed for the Fourth of July parade. The parade begins at 10 a.m. and will take about two hours.

Pacific Coast Highway traffic will be detoured at Goldenwest and Beach up to Garfield Avenue. It will be reopened no later than 2 p.m. Parade-goers heading to the downtown event are advised to get there via Palm or Orange avenues. Beach parking is available at Beach Boulevard.

Twin Dolphin will be closed from 6 a.m. until no later than 2 p.m.

After the parade, a children’s fair will be held on Main Street between Pacific Coast Highway and Olive Avenue. The first two blocks of Main will be closed until after the fireworks show, which starts at 9 p.m..

The pier will be partially closed all day and completely closed at 5 p.m. Pacific Coast Highway will be closed from Goldenwest to Beach from 7 p.m. until about 11 p.m. Huntington Street will be closed between Atlanta Avenue and Pacific Coast Highway.
