Patricia Ann Brownell

Brownell, Patricia Ann (Lloyd),

75, passed away March 3, 2009

at Hoag Hospital after a long and

courageous battle against kidney

disease. Born in Cleveland, Ohio

on April 25, 1933; resident of

Newport Beach since 1974. She

leaves David, her beloved husband

of 55 years; children Todd (Anne),

Jeff (Cori), Lisa Coords (Brian),

and Kris; sister Carol Brownell;

brothers Gary and Mike (Debbie)

Lloyd; as well as 8 grandchildren, her Aunt Helena, and

many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Pat cared deeply for her

family, her faith and her many friends. She enjoyed the great

outdoors. She was much loved for her sunny disposition, her

zest for life, her honesty and her empathy and support for

those less fortunate- especially children. She will be missed

greatly by all who shared life’s pathway with her. A special

memorial service is scheduled for Fri. March 20 at 1:00 pm at

St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Newport Beach. In lieu

of flowers, the family suggests a contribution in Pat’s name to

The Children’s Home Society, The Sierra Club, or a related

charity of your choice.
