Parking passes will no longer be prorated in Surf City, thanks to budget cuts.

The Huntington Beach Municipal Beach Parking Pass will cost the same amount all year. The city recently had to cut $4 million from its budget to fill a revenue shortfall. The pass costs $150, or $50 for those 62 and older.

The pass is valid at the Promenade Parking Structure and lots along Pacific Coast Highway from Beach Boulevard to Seapoint Avenue.

Passes can be bought at the Community Services Counter at City Hall on 2000 Main St., or at Beach Division Headquarters at 103 Pacific Coast Hwy. For more information, call (714) 536-5281.
