Collector’s Choice

Enjoy Laguna College of Art and Design’s 21st Annual Collector’s Choice Fine Art Event and Auction, 5:30 p.m. at 2222 Laguna Canyon Road. All proceeds will benefit student scholarships and provide funds to enhance college facilities. Tickets are $150 per person, and include an opportunity to win artwork.

Chinese tea party

Pipe organ concert

Listen to classical music on the Moller pipe organ in the restored sanctuary of Laguna Presbyterian Church at 4 p.m. Both vocal and bell choirs will perform. There is no admission charge, though a freewill offering will be taken. The church is located at 415 Forest Ave., Laguna Beach.

Carmina Burana choral concert

The Laguna Beach Chorale presents Carl Orff’s “Carmina Burana.” Daniel F. Resch, conductor at 2 p.m. at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, 428 Park Ave. Tickets are $15 general admission, $10 seniors and students. Free childcare provided during the performance.

Transition Consciousness

Transition Laguna invites the community to Transition Consciousness from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. with speakers, performers, discussion and dancing, at the Woman’s Club of Laguna Beach, 286 St. Ann’s Drive. $10 donation suggested. Loose, comfortable clothing, a pillow and water are recommended for the meeting. No hard shoes for dancing.

Feddy fundraiser

Help local musician Jason Feddy with health costs at a benefit concert featuring musician friends and a few special guests. The evening will also include a performance of “Songs by Shakespeare” with Feddy and John Gardner. $40 suggested donation. 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. at the Marine Room Tavern, 214 Ocean Ave.

Documentaries about locals

The Laguna Beach Film Society will screen “The Legend of Pancho Barnes and the Happy Bottom Riding Club,” and “Daisy,” two documentaries about noted locals, 7 p.m. at South Coast Cinemas in Laguna Beach.

Cost is $15 for both films; $20 for the pre-film reception at 6 p.m. at the Wells Fargo Bank Community Room. Attendees will also have a chance to meet the directors.
