Suzanne Beaumont Pannier 1941 - 2010

Suzanne Beaumont Pannier of Newport Beach passed away July 13, 2010, following a sudden hospitalization for a stroke suffered July 3.  Suzanne was a resident of Newport Beach for more than 40 years.

Suzanne is survived by her husband, Loren Pannier, and two sons, Marc of Irvine, and Scott of Sacramento, and four grandchildren, Max, Cora, Cooper and Will.

Suzanne was the daughter of Allen and Fern Beaumont of Burlingame, Calif., where Suzanne grew up. Suzanne was educated at Occidental College, and received her bachelor's and master's degrees from Stanford University. She was a teacher by training and worked in public schools and for IBM.  She was a stay-at-home mom for Marc and Scott, but also volunteered her time in the schools, her church and other community organizations.

While her life was cut short, Suzanne was grateful for the life she had. Most valuable to her were her many friends who shared her love of family and her enjoyment of reading.  In recent years she shared many adventure travels with Loren, as recently as a month ago.

A celebration of her life will be at 2 p.m. July 22 at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 600 St. Andrew’s Road, Newport Beach.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Blind Children’s Learning Center, 18542 Vanderlip Ave., Santa Ana, CA, 92705–3249, or St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church (Music Ministry), 600 St. Andrew’s Road, Newport Beach.
