DUI checkpoint scheduled for Saturday

The Huntington Beach Police Department will be holding a DUI checkpoint at 9 p.m. Saturday on Beach Boulevard.

The department is trying to get impaired drivers off the road before they cause a crash or fatal collision.

“Impaired drivers put everyone on the road in danger, and we are doing everything we can to ensure that motorists enjoy a safe, crash-free holiday season,” according to a statement from the Police Department.
