Juveniles questioned in single-vehicle crash

Four juveniles were taken in after Laguna Beach Police and Fire departments responded to a single-vehicle traffic crash Monday.

Witnesses reported that four to five juveniles fled the vehicle after the crash at El Toro and Laguna Canyon roads at 2:45 p.m.

Nearby Anneliese School was locked down for 30 minutes as a precaution.

Police suspect the vehicle, a red, two-door sedan, may be stolen.

Police found four possible suspects, two male juveniles and two female juveniles, less than half a mile from the scene. They were taken in for questioning.

The two girls had lacerations to the face and were taken to Mission Hospital Mission Viejo for treatment.
