Area 1

Broadway: A Newport Beach man was arrested on suspicion of a DUI near North Coast Highway at 11:44 p.m. Sunday.

North Coast Highway: A business reported grand theft in the 1200 block at 3:59 p.m. June 30. Two boxes were taken with a value estimated at $1,154.

North Coast Highway: A Kansas man was arrested on suspicion of a DUI near Emerald Bay at 11:55 p.m. Monday.

North Coast Highway: A man in a wheelchair was reportedly flashing people in the 100 block at 12:29 p.m. Tuesday.

Area 2

Laguna Canyon Road: An Irvine man was arrested on suspicion of DUI in the 2000 block at 12:25 a.m. Saturday.

Laguna Canyon Road: An unknown woman was reportedly running into traffic, cursing at people and trying to open locked businesses in the 3300 block at 5:10 p.m. Monday.

Laguna Canyon Road: A Monrovia man was arrested on suspicion of a DUI in the 20000 block at 2:25 a.m. Tuesday.

Laguna Canyon Road: A Laguna Beach man was arrested on suspicion of DUI in the 20000 block at 3:03 a.m. Tuesday.

Area 3

South Coast Highway: A vehicle reportedly hit a trolley in the 600 block at 11:37 a.m. June 30. A Jaguar hit the trolley and then pulled over to the side, a person reported, but they then left the scene without exchanging information.

Forest Avenue: A hit and run was reported near South Coast Highway at 5:46 p.m. Saturday. An Indiana woman was arrested for suspicion of DUI.

South Coast Highway: Cocaine was reported in a hotel room in the 400 block at 3:11 p.m. Saturday. Hotel staff said they contacted the guests, who said the drugs belonged to friends. A Laguna Hills man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

South Coast Highway: A person reported that a woman threw a chair at them in the 100 block at 6:47 p.m. Sunday. The person was bleeding and refused medical aid.

Glenneyre Street: A woman reported that her ex-husband was causing a scene at her workplace and refusing to leave in the 600 block at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday.

South Coast Highway: A person reported that their iPhone and iPad were stolen at the beach in the 100 block at 4:01 p.m. Tuesday.

Sleepy Hollow Lane: A person reported that they had video of a suspect that burglarized his vehicle in the 600 block at 8:03 a.m. Wednesday. The suspect stole his wallet and used his credit card. A Laguna Beach transient was arrested.

South Coast Highway: A person reported that a homeless man was playing in the playground with children in the 100 block at 10:52 a.m. Wednesday. The reporting person found it “creepy.”

Mountain Road: An Aliso Viejo woman was arrested on suspicion of a DUI near South Coast Highway at 2:17 a.m. Tuesday.

South Coast Highway: A San Juan Capistrano man was arrested on suspicion of DUI in the 31000 block at 4:13 p.m. July 1.
