COSTA MESA — Youth Employment Services has received a $35,000 donation to help fund education and job referral programs for at-risk youths, the nonprofit organization said Tuesday.

Corinthian Colleges and its Everest Santa Ana campus raised the money through silent and live auctions as well as private donations, said Kathy Du Vernet, YES’s executive director.

Each year, about 800 to 900 students participate in YES activities, which serve youths ages 14 through 22 through programs and seminars focused on employability, career choices and quality of life.
