Smithcliffs Road: Three explosions were reported in the 0 block at 1:27 p.m. Aug. 11.

Shamrock Road: A Laguna Niguel man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at 12:59 a.m. Saturday.

Laguna Canyon Road: A San Juan Capistrano man was arrested on suspicion of DUI in the 1000 block at 5:29 Tuesday.

Gunderson Drive: A person reported that FedEx packages were signed by an unknown person and taken in the 20000 block at 2:17 p.m. Wednesday. The loss was estimated at $3,000.

Area 3

Forest Avenue: A Mission Viejo man was arrested on two counts of possession of methamphetamine in the 500 block at 7:21 p.m. Aug. 11.

Laguna Avenue: A Dallas woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI in the 200 block at 12:35 a.m. Saturday.

South Coast Highway: A man was reportedly refusing to leave a restaurant in the 800 block at 10:44 p.m. Saturday. The Irvine man was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of methamphetamine.

Temple Hills Drive: A person reported that a woman was living inside her car in the 2100 block at 8:34 a.m. Monday. The person reported that she was brushing her teeth at that moment.

Area 4

Flora Street: Vandalism was reported in the 300 block at 8:35 a.m. Saturday. An unknown suspect painted “I love you” on the reporting person’s brick wall.

Carmelita Street: Vandalism was reported at 6:12 a.m. Tuesday. A passerby reported that a car’s window had been broken and the car appeared to have been ransacked.

Glenneyre Street: A Costa Mesa man was arrested on suspicion of DUI in the 1000 block at 12:06 p.m. Tuesday.

South Coast Highway: A person reported that a cab driver hit them in the mouth in the 1200 block at 2:16 a.m. Wednesday.

South Coast Highway: Two males were reportedly pointing what looked like guns out of the window of an older gray sedan in the 31000 block at 5:14 p.m. Saturday. The person reported they were making shooting noises.

Vista del Sol: A Poway woman was arrested on suspicion of a DUI at 2:25 a.m. Sunday.

Crown Valley: A Capistrano Beach man was arrested for possession of methamphetamine for sale and transportation at South Coast Highway at 9:58 p.m. Wednesday.
