Flag football league kicks off with family event

NFL Flag South Orange County is celebrating opening day of its flag football league with a free day of fun from 9:30 a.m. to noon Sept. 10 at St. Mary’s School, 7 Pursuit, Aliso Viejo.

Families are invited to attend the event, which includes an NFL Punt, Pass & Kick tournament, games, an obstacle course and other fitness challenges for kids ages 5 to 14.

Registration is still open for the no-contact flag football league, the newest member of the NFL Flag affiliate.
