Williams, Dennis age 71, of Edina, Minnesota, left this life the way he lived it - on his terms. After a brave 17-month struggle with health issues that remain undiagnosed, he passed away peacefully on February 1st. A graduate of Garden Grove High School and California State University at Fullerton, Dennis enjoyed a successful career in advertising. In retirement, he co-founded griefresourcescatalog.com helping those coping with the loss of a loved one. Dennis co-authored several booklets on grief. He also co-authored a children’s book on eating healthy. An excellent cook, Dennis thoroughly enjoyed cars, jazz music, good books and films. He was beloved for his compassion, wit and charm. Dennis was preceded in death by parents, Fay and Cecil Williams, and wife, Laura. He is survived by son, Michael (Mary); daughter, Laurel (Greg); brother, Richard (Kathi); seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and long-time partner, Barbara Moore. At Dennis’ request, his body has been donated to the University of Minnesota. His cremains will be later returned to southern California for private internment.
