Anne Morrison Gick

GICK, Anne Morrison

July 27, 1922 – August 26, 2012

Born in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, the eldest of seven children of Francis and Agnes Cofer. Anne passed away peacefully at her home in Huntington Beach from natural causes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight Gick, in 2004.

Survived by her sons, Bart and Don Morrison, Gary Gick, daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Randy Wolfe and her two granddaughters, Courtney and Megan.

As the family matriarch, Anne recently celebrated her 90th birthday with many family members from Kentucky present. She was an amazing woman and continued to manage the family business (Advantage Publishing) until her death.

A private, family celebration of her life will take place at a later time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
