A Laguna Beach publicist was reportedly threatened after not getting an attorney and his bounty hunter wife on a reality TV show, the dispatch log and police said.

A television publicist reported Sept. 13 that she was being threatened by a Huntington Beach couple who were trying to get on Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Orange County,” Sgt. Louise Callus said in an email.

The couple had retained the publicist to get on the show and after negotiations led to no appearance on the show, they demanded their money from her. The threats were aimed at the publicist because they felt it was her fault they hadn’t secured a role on the reality show, Callus said.

The female publicist was notified that the issue was a civil matter.

She filed a threats report due to alleged threatening text messages she said she received from the husband.

According to the dispatch log, she reported they said they know people who would “make her disappear.” However, Callus said there have been no specific threats to harm, just intimidation tactics.
