Body found at Thousand Steps beach
A body was found by a skimboarder at Thousand Steps beach last week.
A Covina man hanged himself Oct. 16, Laguna Beach police Capt. Jason Kravetz said in an email.
A skimboarder called police at 7:31 a.m. Oct. 17 to report that a man apparently committed suicide near the foot of the stairs.
He was 28 years old. His name has not been released.
