Romney cut-out missing from Republican headquarters

A Mitt Romney cardboard cut-out was stolen at the Republican headquarters in Laguna Beach on Thursday, police said.

At 3:14 p.m. police received a call that the life-size cut-out of the presidential hopeful was missing from its spot at 1464 S. Coast Hwy. A manager valued it at $40.

She believes the theft occurred on Halloween when she went out briefly. Romney’s paper look-a-like was missing upon her return.

The cut-out is described as a 6-foot-2 Mitt Romney replica. He is wearing a suit and smiling, Capt. Jason Kravetz said in an email.
