Woman’s Club in need of donations for party

The Woman’s Club will host a party for low-income families, according to a news release.

Donations such as clean used clothing, household items, linens and toys are needed for the event, which will take place Dec. 14. Donations can be dropped from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 14 at the club, 286 St. Ann’s Drive, on the corner of Glenneyre Street.

The event will kick off at 5 p.m. Dec. 14 with a visit from Santa while parents pick items from those donated. New and unwrapped toys and canned or packaged food are also needed for the Adopt A Family program hosted by the Laguna Resource Center’s Pantry. Library hosts Winter Family Night

Laguna Beach Library’s annual Winter Family Night will take place at 5 p.m. Dec. 19 at the library, 363 Glenneyre St.

Animal magician John Abrams will be on hand and crafts and refreshments will be available. The children’s art palettes will also be on display, courtesy of the Laguna Outreach Community Arts.
