Fairview Drive: Grand theft was reported in the 2700 block at 8:49 a.m. Friday.

Merrimac Way: Vandalism was reported in the 300 block at 12:13 p.m. Friday.

Airway Avenue: A threat was reported in the 3100 block at 12:23 p.m. Friday.

Newport Boulevard: Battery was reported in the 1800 block at 3:48 p.m. Friday.

Plumer Street and Pomona Avenue: An arrest for possession of controlled substances, unlawful paraphernalia and 28.5 grams of marijuana, and presenting a false I.D. to parole officer was reported at 5:18 p.m. Friday.

Canyon Drive: Battery was reported in the 2200 block at 11:33 p.m. Friday.
