Top of the Hill

The Resort at Pelican Hill hosts a Father’s Day brunch at two restaurants: a three-course a la carte brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Pelican Grill and an all-day buffet from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Coliseum Pool & Grill. Cost for the Pelican Grill is $14 and above per entree; the Coliseum buffet is $58 per adult and $29 per child under age 12.

The Pelican Grill also offers a plated brunch menu ($75 per adult) and a dinner menu ($34 to $60 per entree).

Free drink for starters

Dad can have his first beer, cocktail or glass of wine free Sunday at the Bungalow Restaurant, 2441 E. Coast Hwy., Corona del Mar. The special dinner menu is available from 3 to 9 p.m. and costs $35 per person, with mesquite smoked baby back ribs, half BBQ chicken, mesquite grilled king salmon, grilled flat iron steak and mixed kabob as the entrees.

Gift keeps on giving

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar at Fashion Island gives a double gift for dads this Sunday. Not only does the restaurant offer a three-course Father’s Day brunch, but every father receives a $25 dining card for a future visit. The brunch, which costs $36.95 for adults and $17.95 for children under 12, is offered from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Brunch lasts from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and costs $13 to $18 per item; dinner goes from 3 to 9 p.m. with an entree range of $9.95 to $28.

Charlie Palmer at Bloomingdale’s South Coast Plaza hosts a Father’s Day Bloody Mary brunch at 3333 Bristol St., Costa Mesa.
