Woman killed in three-vehicle crash

A woman died Wednesday after a three-vehicle crash in Huntington Beach, according to a Police Department news release.

The 56-year-old woman from Lake Forest was transported to Long Beach Memorial Hospital, where she was pronounced dead, authorities said.

Police received a call about 6:25 p.m. reporting a three-vehicle crash collision on Warner Avenue east of Bolsa Chica Street.

The Lake Forest woman was driving a blue 2000 Dodge Dakota, a 76-year-old woman from Huntington Beach was driving a gray 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer and a 58-year-old man from Huntington Beach was driving a black 2011 Audi A3, according to authorities.

Police said the Huntington Beach woman sustained minor injuries and was transported to Huntington Beach Hospital. The man in the Audi was uninjured.
