A Corona del Mar High School sophomore is one of 27 students advancing to the state level in the National Parent Teacher Assn. Reflections Program.

Kendall Kurzweil, who entered a dance choreography routine titled “I Will Be,” is the only CdM student to move on to the state competition, according to a news release.

Kendall is a member of the Orchesis Dance Company and the National Honor Society at CdM.

The Reflections Program provides opportunities for students to express themselves creatively with original works of art inspired by a pre-selected theme.
