Garage sale being held for veterans group

The Assistance League of Laguna Beach and the Laguna Beach Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5868 are holding a two-day garage sale.

The sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Assistance League’s chapter house garage, directly behind its thrift shop, at 526 Glenneyre St.

Items on sale include glass and coffee tables, tools, patio furniture, garden decorations, beach chairs, shelving units, rugs, luggage, golf clubs and art work. All proceeds will benefit the VFW post.

The Assistance League is a nonprofit organization run entirely by volunteers who help identify, fund and develop programs to address specific needs in the community.
