Luncheon for Girls

Celebrate young entrepreneurs who are participating in the Youth Empowerment Self-Sufficiency (Y.E.S.S.) program at Girls Inc. of Orange County at an open house/luncheon 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Aug. 19.

Guests can interact with girls, shop at their businesses with Y.E.S.S. currency, vote for favorite businesses and enjoy a catered lunch. Tickets cost $45.

The goal of the Y.E.S.S. Program is to equip girls ages 9 to 12 with the skills to make informed decisions regarding their money while empowering them to become entrepreneurs. They learn economics, career options and consumer issues.
