Key Sea Kings: Sr. QB Ethan Garbers (226 of 322 passing for 3,357 yards, 47 TDs and five INTs; 38 carries for 217 yards and four TDs); Sr. WR John Humphreys (64 catches for 1,190 yards and 23 TDs); Sr. WR/FS Bradley Schlom (67 catches for 925 yards and 11 TDs); Sr. TE/LB Mark Redman (47 catches for 641 yards and 10 TDs)

Breakdown: Top-seeded Corona del Mar (10-0) hosts Corona Santiago (3-7) in the first round of the CIF Southern Section Division 3 playoffs ... The Sea Kings completed their first undefeated regular season since 2013 last week with a 48-14 rout of Los Alamitos, clinching the outright Sunset League title. CdM finished off a dominant Sunset League run in which it had a running clock in the fourth quarter of all five games, with at least a 35-point lead ... Heading into the postseason, Garbers leads Orange County quarterbacks in passing yardage (3,357) and touchdowns (47). Humphreys is fourth in receiving yards (1,190) and his 23 touchdowns lead the county ... CdM has not lost a playoff opener since 2004, winning 12 straight first-round games since then ... Santiago finished fourth in the difficult Big VIII League. League champion Corona Centennial is the No. 3 seed in the Division 1 playoffs, and the second-place team, Norco, is the No. 3 seed in Division 2 ... The winner of Friday’s game will play either San Bernardino Cajon or La Cañada Flintridge St. Francis in the quarterfinals.
