Breakdown: Marina (12-2) looks to keep its magical season alive when it hosts La Jolla (9-4) on Saturday at Boswell Field in the CIF State Southern California Regional Division 4-A Bowl Game … Coming off an 18-9 win over visiting Pasadena Muir in the CIF Southern Section Division 11 final, Marina will once again have a home game for the fourth time in five postseason games. In the previous eight games that Marina has played at Boswell Field this season, it has posted a 7-1 record … Marina has won seven games in a row since the start of Big 4 League play, surrendering just 10.1 points per game over that span … Brenton had a signature performance in the CIF final with two interceptions, a receiving touchdown and a two-point conversion catch … La Jolla won the San Diego Section Division III title, defeating Brawley in the semifinals and San Diego Scripps Ranch in the final by a combined eight points.
