Breakdown: Laguna Beach hosts Rio Hondo Prep in a battle of top-10 teams in the CIF Southern Section Division 12 poll. Laguna Beach (5-1), ranked fourth in the division, has won four in a row … Johnson has thrown for at least three touchdowns in five of Laguna Beach’s six games this season, with Nolan ending up on the receiving end of 10 of those scoring strikes … The Breakers’ defense has done well, allowing less than 20 points in all but one game this season … No. 6 Rio Hondo Prep (4-1) has a pair of shutouts to its credit, accomplishing the feat against Oxnard Santa Clara and Boron. The Kares have 16 sacks as a team, and they have allowed just six points per game … Big Bear handed the Breakers and the Kares their only loss of the season, with each defeat coming by a margin of three points.
