Key Saints: Sr. QB/WR Damian Macias (four of four passing for 40 yards; 20 carries for 260 yards, two TDs); Sr. RB/SS Allen Pacheco (20 carries for 218 yards, one TD).
Breakdown: Marina (2-1) will be trying to rebound from last week’s 34-20 loss at rival Westminster in the Battle at Boswell game … Now the Vikings hit the road for a game against Santa Ana (1-1) in a battle of teams ranked in CIF Southern Section Division 12 … Santa Ana is ranked No. 5 in the division, with Marina at No. 7 … Santa Ana, which beat Anaheim 56-6 last week, was a Division 13 finalist last year, starting the season 13-0 before losing to Rancho Christian in the title game … The Saints beat Marina 33-21 last year … Santa Ana likes to run the ball, with Macias and Pacheco getting most of the carries … The Vikings can start the season 3-1 for the second straight year with a win.
