Estancia 71, Laguna Beach 49

LAGUNA BEACH — Senior Kassie Stratton had 25 points and was one of four Eagles to combine for 16 three-pointers in the Orange Coast League road game Tuesday.

Stratton had five three-pointers, as did senior Jenny Boldizar (15 points). Freshman Celia Duran had four three-pointers (17 points) and senior Yessenia Maldonado had 10 points with two three-pointers.

Estancia is 17-6, 7-0 in league.

Costa Mesa 47, Godinez 37

COSTA MESA — Annie Sturm had 20 points and 15 rebounds to lead the Mustangs in the Orange Coast League game Tuesday.

Nancy Aguilar added 13 points and five rebounds, while Itzel Flores had six points, eight rebounds and six steals for Costa Mesa (11-12, 6-1 in league).

Irvine 46, Corona del Mar 33

CORONA DEL MAR — Melanie de Arakal scored a season-high 17 points to lead the Sea Kings in the Pacific Coast League game Tuesday.

She made three three-pointers for CdM (9-14, 0-7 in league), which will play at Woodbridge Friday at 5:30 p.m.

Sage Hill 54, Crean Lutheran 28

NEWPORT COAST — Junior Ava Soleimany had 19 points to pace the host Lightning in the Academy League game Tuesday.

Junior Zoe Kreitenberg had 16 rebounds and nine points, while sophomore Maggie Danner chipped in eight points, eight rebounds, seven steals and five assists for the winners (12-8, 3-4 in league).

Sophomore Shelby Bolen had 11 rebounds and six points for Sage, which plays host to Oxford Academy on Friday.

Los Alamitos 41, Newport Harbor 33

NEWPORT BEACH – Alex Morton finished with 11 points and 16 rebounds in the Sailors’ Sunset League game Tuesday.

Kasey Thompson had eight points and eight rebounds for Newport Harbor (10-13, 1-6 in league).

Mandy Legault added seven points.

BOYS’ BASKETBALL

Corona del Mar 63, Irvine 34

CORONA DEL MAR — Seniors Danny Cheek and Marcus Bardley had 16 and 15 points, respectively, to pace the host Sea Kings in the Pacific Coast League game Tuesday.

Senior Clayton Ragsdale had 11 points and six assists for CdM (16-7, 7-0 in league), for which senior Chris Freeman had six assists and Bradley had a team-best seven rebounds.

The Sea Kings visit Woodbridge Friday at 7 p.m.

GIRLS’ SOCCER

Costa Mesa 4, Saddleback 0

SANTA ANA — Sami Feinstein had one goal and two assists to lead the Mustangs in the Orange Coast League game Tuesday.

Linda Gonzalez, Darian Miller and Scarlett Zambrano scored one goal each, while Belinda Gonzalez had one assist for Costa Mesa (7-8-4, 4-3 in league).

Goalies Maggie Acevedo (two saves) and Whitney McAleer (one save) combined for the shutout.

The Mustangs play host to Calvary Chapel 5:30 p.m. at Jim Scott Stadium.

COSTA MESA — Jackie Freiberger scored for the Eagles in the Orange Coast League match at Jim Scott Stadium Tuesday.

Goalie Ferny Perez had six saves for Estancia (11-4-3, 5-1-1 in league). The Eagles scored 15 minutes into the second half. The Grizzlies scored with five minutes left.

Estancia will play at Saddleback Thursday at 4:45 p.m.

Sage Hill 0, Crean Lutheran 0

NEWPORT COAST — Alexa Thomas had five saves for the Lightning in the Academy League game Tuesday at Sage Hill.

Coach Chino Cid highlighted the offensive play of Meg Crade and Rannah Dabiri and the defense of Sofia Herzlinger in the tie game, which went regulation and two overtime periods.

Sage Hill (9-7-2, 4-2-1 in league) remains in third place in league with three games to go.

WRESTLING

Los Alamitos 64, Newport Harbor 9

LOS ALAMITOS — Sophomore David Wadleigh and senior Bradley Beaudette each recorded wins for the Sailors in the Sunset League dual meet Tuesday night.

Wadleigh had a pin in 58 seconds, and Beaudette won, 7-5, for the Tars (11-7, 1-4 in league).

Sunset League finals are Saturday at Edison High.
