CHINO HILLS – Corona del Mar High junior Mike Moorhead shot two-over-par 74 to finish second individually and help the Sea Kings finish fourth at Western Hills Golf and Country Club on Monday.

Moorhead was in a four-way tie for first place after 18 holes. CdM Coach Mike Starkweather said a card-off determined the winner.

After two golfers were eliminated from contention, Starkweather said the fourth hole, a 403-yard, par-four, left Moorhead in second place after he had birdied the hole and a golfer from Harvard-Westlake of North Hollywood posted an eagle on the same hole.

Brian Mull shot 79 for Corona del Mar, followed by Kerrick Brown (80) and Ryan Grable (84). John Davenport and Tanner Trauthen each shot 87.

Servite won the tournament.
