Andy Roddick, a former No. 1-ranked player in the world, and twin brothers Bob and Mike Bryan, the world’s No. 1 doubles team, will be making appearances during the Orange County Breakers’ World Team Tennis season at the UC Irvine Bren Events Center in July.

Roddick will play for the Springfield Lasers, who selected Roddick as the No. 1 pick in the World Team Tennis Draft on Tuesday. Roddick will be playing in his seventh World Team Tennis season, his first in three years. His last professional match was at the 2012 US Open.

The Bryan brothers will play for the Texas Wild. They have been a part of World Team Tennis for 11 seasons.

The Bryans have won a record 13 Grand Slam doubles team titles.

“When Andy and the Bryans visit with their teams this season at the Bren [Events] Center, we know the competition will be tough on the court. But the atmosphere of being so up close and personal to these top American stars is something we are really excited to bring to our fans,” said Kerry Schneider, the general manager for the Breakers, in a press release. “We plan to put together a team at next month’s roster draft that can take us even further than last year.”

Trevor Kronemann is coaching the Breakers for the seventh straight season. Last season, he led the team to the Western Conference playoffs as the No. 1 seed.

The Breakers, who will be in their 11th season in the Orange County area, play host to seven matches during the regular season, which runs from July 7-24.
