Vanguard University brings on the pep for local kids at cheerleading clinic

Vanguard University in Costa Mesa hosted a cheer clinic Saturday where area students in kindergarten through eighth grade could perform alongside the university’s cheerleading team.

Students also could learn basketball cheers and a rally routine during the three-hour event.
