Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a driver who struck and killed a 53-year-old woman in Huntington Beach.

Tina Boring was walking near Seapoint Street and Palm Avenue at 12:30 a.m. Nov. 29 when she was struck by a vehicle. The Huntington Beach resident died at the scene.

The car, which had been traveling northbound on Seapoint Street, returned to the scene and then fled without the driver rendering aid or calling for help, police said.

Another motorist saw Boring in the roadway about 10 minutes after she was struck and called police.

Police think the vehicle that hit Boring is a light colored, possibly silver, late model Range Rover Sport. The car may have sustained front end or hood damage.
