It’s a Charlie Brown Christmas again in Costa Mesa.

The 51st annual Snoopy House — a holiday tradition boasting festive displays including characters from Charles Schulz’s iconic “Peanuts” comic strip — opened to the public Thursday evening at City Hall.

Snoopy House is open from 5:30 to 9 p.m. daily through Dec. 23, also featuring performances, free photos with Santa Claus, train rides and a snow play area on select days.

City Hall, at 77 Fair Drive, has hosted Snoopy House since 2011. Before that, it was at the Eastside home of Jim and Linda Jordan.
