Holiday wreaths honor vets at Corona del Mar cemetery
Dozens of volunteers turned out to Pacific View Memorial Park in Corona del Mar on Saturday to place fresh-cut wreaths on the graves of veterans.
The ceremony focused on the Garden of Valor, the cemetery’s veterans’ section, which is the resting place for nearly 1,000 military service members.
The holiday ceremony was part of the nationwide Wreaths Across America project, which is expected to visit more than 1,200 cemeteries and place more than 700,000 wreaths this year.
