Freshman Sofia Lowe scored in the 14th minute, and the Sage Hill School girls’ soccer team made it stand up for a 1-0 win over host Costa Mesa in a nonleague game on Thursday.

Sophomore Anika Nielsen drew the assist.

Sage Hill also deployed two goalkeepers, with sophomore Nicole Motherway (two saves) playing the first half and junior Michelle Hung (four saves) playing the second half.
