Laguna Beach swept by JSerra in girls’ volleyball match

The Breakers dropped their second straight match, losing to the Lions, 25-17, 25-15, 25-13 in a nonleague match Tuesday at JSerra High.

Lexi McKeown had 11 digs and nine kills, and Peri Brennan contributed 15 assists and 12 digs.

Laguna Beach (3-4) is off until Sept. 21, when the Breakers open league play with a home match against Santa Ana Godinez (7-3).
