Newport Harbor girls’ tennis beats St. Margaret’s
Nicole Knickerbocker swept at No. 1 singles and the Newport Harbor High girls’ tennis team beat St. Margaret’s 14-4 in a nonleague home match Monday.
The doubles teams of Lauren Lipkowski and Amra Barton, as well as Rachel Davis and Avery Wooden, both swept for Newport Harbor (6-2). Kat Smith and Carolyn Altshuler won a set against the St. Margaret’s No. 1 team.
The Sailors return to action Thursday, when they open Sunset League play at Marina.
