Pacifica Christian reaches semifinals of Triton Volleyball Classic

The Pacifica Christian girls’ volleyball program hosted the second annual Triton Volleyball Classic on Saturday, going 2-1-1 in its own tournament that featured some of the top small-school programs from the CIF Southern Section.

The Tritons, the top-ranked team in Division 10, lost 26-24, 25-21 in the semifinals against Southlands Christian, which was a quarterfinalist in the Division 9 playoffs last year.

Maddy Alaluf led the way for Pacifica Christian (7-3-1) with 13 kills in the match.

Also on the day, the Tritons defeated Liberty Christian and Samueli Academy, and split against Santa Rosa Academy.
