'Star Wars: Return Of The Jedi'

The Arts and Learning Conservatory presents "Star Wars: Return of the Jedi," a musical parody performed by local actors ages 8 to 15. 'Psychedelic Days'

Various Newport-Mesa Unified schools are part of "Extreme Makeover Day" from 8 a.m. to noon. The schools are Sonora Elementary, Paularino Elementary, Pomona Elementary, Whittier Elementary, Killybrooke Elementary and Wilson Elementary. Lemon Drop Dance Club

Newport Beach-based Lemon Drop Club, which hosts singles parties in Orange County geared for adults around the age of 40 and up, will have its St. Patrick's Day dance party from 7 to midnight at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, 17941 Von Karman, Irvine. Chinese Exhibitions

Orange Coast College's Doyle Arts Pavilion opens its 2011 spring season with a pair of exhibits featuring Chinese photographers and Chinese brush painting. "Land, Era, People: China's Lishui Photographers" features 110 photographs by six prominent Chinese photographers.
