Pet of the Week

Share

When this lively girl arrived last September, she was named “Jumper” because of her tendency to leap in excitement. Months of patient coaxing and training by volunteers have almost rendered this moniker obsolete.

As a 2-year-old pitbull mix, she still exhibits some pent-up energy in her confining kennel. However, once out on a walk, Jumper’s calmer, more obedient side emerges. She has learned to sit and, for a strong dog, is relatively easy to control on leash. Jumper loves people and other dogs and, with further training, would make a great pet in an active household. She is spayed and healthy and always eager to walk, run or just hang out.

Jumper’s adoption fees are discounted 50% all week when you mention this announcement. Orange County Humane Society is at 21632 Newland St., Huntington Beach. For more information, call (714) 536-8480 or visit https://www.ochumanesociety.com.
