An Arizona man has been identified as the victim of a fatal shooting in Newport Beach that happened in the early morning hours of Aug. 26.

The incident occurred in the area of Indus Street and Redlands Drive. Police said they received a call at around 4:13 a.m. about a man who was reportedly under the influence of drugs and alcohol. As Newport Beach police headed to the area, the man is alleged to have forcibly entered a home where he was shot by an occupant.

Police found the man dead at the scene.

The Orange County Coroner’s Office identified that man as Henry Lehr, 23, of Tucson, Ariz. Newport Beach police said that there have been no arrests made in the case as of Friday.

Police have not revealed the identity of the person who shot Lehr after he entered the property.

Newport Beach police spokeswoman Heather Rangel said that the department would not be announcing any updates in the ongoing investigation.
