Fountain Valley DUI checkpoint nets 1 arrest among 809 drivers questioned
A drunk driving checkpoint in Fountain Valley netted one arrest Friday night.
The Fountain Valley Police Department set up the checkpoint at Brookhurst Street and Ellis Avenue, where they questioned 809 drivers and evaluated three for possible impaired driving.
Of those, one was cited and released on suspicion of driving under the influence.
Police also cited five drivers for lacking valid licenses.
