One student hospitalized, another arrested after fight at Marina High School

A student was hospitalized and another was arrested Friday after a fight at Marina High School in Huntington Beach, police said.

Huntington Beach police responded to the school at 15871 Springdale St. at 1:12 p.m. after receiving a report of a fight involving two students.

After the fight, one of the students reported himself to school administrators, and police arrested him on suspicion of battery with serious bodily injury. He was released to his parents, police said. Authorities did not identify the student because he is a minor.

The other teenager was taken to a hospital and his condition is stable, police said. The extent of his injuries was not released.
