The Orange County Sheriff’s Department is looking for additional possible victims of a Costa Mesa man who allegedly exposed himself to female bus riders on three occasions.

Carlos Alberto Tirado, 49, is facing three counts of indecent exposure and one count of child annoyance — all misdemeanors.

He has pleaded not guilty to all charges, according to Orange County Superior Court records.

Tirado was first arrested in March after authorities alleged he exposed his genitals Feb. 20 to a 22-year-old woman on an Orange County Transportation Authority bus near State College Boulevard and La Palma Avenue in Anaheim.

Tirado posted $500 bail March 27 and was released, according to court records.

Authorities allege Tirado was involved in another indecent exposure incident while out of custody.

Sheriff’s deputies responded June 19 to a report of indecent exposure aboard a bus near Highland and Bristol streets in Santa Ana.

Police said a man, later identified as Tirado, exposed himself to and masturbated in front of a 16-year-old girl on the bus.

While investigating the June case, surveillance footage connected Tirado to another indecent exposure incident on Dec. 10, 2017 aboard a bus in Anaheim, authorities said.

In that incident, police allege Tirado exposed his genitals multiple times and masturbated while making eye contact with a 22-year-old female passenger.

Tirado was arrested a second time June 29.

He is being held in lieu of $35,000 bail at the Theo Lacy Facility in Orange, according to jail records, and is expected to appear in court July 13 for a pretrial hearing.

Authorities ask that anyone with information about the case call the Sheriff’s Department at (714) 265-4340 or supply an anonymous tip at (855) TIP-OCCS.
