COSTA MESA
* Avocado Street: A vehicle burglary in the 300 block was reported at
12:31 a.m. Sunday.
* Elm Avenue: An assault with a deadly weapon was reported in the 1500
block at 1:38 p.m. Saturday.
* Harbor Boulevard: A man was arrested at 10:40 p.m. Saturday in the
1800 block on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and drug
paraphernalia.
* Pomona Avenue: A man was arrested at 4:28 p.m. Sunday in the 2200
block on suspicion of driving without a license.
* West Wilson Street: A grand theft in the 700 block was reported at
9:54 p.m. Sunday.
* Bear Street: A stolen vehicle was recovered at 8:15 p.m. Saturday in
the 3300 block.
NEWPORT BEACH
* 28th Street and Newport Boulevard: Police arrested a man on
suspicion of disorderly conduct under the influence of alcohol and drugs
at 2 a.m. Monday. Bail was set at $100.
* East Coast Highway: Police reported that someone allegedly pulled
shell brackets out of a wall in the women’s restroom at a mobile home
clubhouse in the 300 block at 11:36 a.m. Sunday.
* McFadden Place: Police arrested a man on suspicion of disorderly
conduct under the influence of alcohol and drugs in the 100 block at 1:40
a.m. Sunday. Bail was set at $100.
* Port Whitby Place: Police reported that someone allegedly stole a
fanny pack with a Swiss Army knife and money from a car in the 2400 block
at 4:47 p.m. Sunday. The total loss was $175.
* Seacrest Drive: Police reported that two duffel bags filled with
fishing equipment worth $10,012 were allegedly stolen from cars in a
garage in the 1200 block at 8:57 a.m. Sunday.
* West Ocean Front: Police reported that someone allegedly keyed a car
in a parking lot at 3:30 p.m. Sunday.
