* Barnstable Circle: A resident reported a 40-year-old male neighbor
threatened and harassed her and her husband in the 16400 block at 8:34
p.m. Saturday.
* Beach Boulevard: A resident reported that her 1965 white Volkswagen
Beetle with tinted windows was stolen from the 16600 block at 12:06 a.m.
Friday. The resident believes her ex-boyfriend may have stolen it.
* Delaware Street: A 1988 four-door blue Oldsmobile was reported
missing from the 2200 block at 12:21 a.m. July 5. The resident last saw
car on July 2.
* Effingham Drive: Police received report of a prowler. A resident
heard noises outside and then something moving around downstairs in the
9800 block at 3:33 a.m. July 5.
* Evergreen Circle: A suspicious white male in his late 20s with long
black hair tied in a ponytail, wearing blue jeans and a dark shirt, was
reported walking nervously around a house holding a cell phone and
walking by a black Honda Civic several times. He later said he never saw
the car. The suspicious activity was reported in the 17000 block at 9:23
p.m. Sunday.
* Kiser Drive: A disturbance involving four juveniles repeatedly
driving by in a black Ford Taurus with a silver stripe on the bottom was
reported in the 6000 block at 4:14 a.m. July 4. The resident reported the
subjects emptied a neighbor’s trash can on the lawn and left a trash can
full of water against the front door of the residence in an attempt to
flood it.
* Newman Avenue: A woman in a wheelchair was reported missing by a
resident from the home in the 8300 block at 12:56 a.m. July 5. The woman
was described as heavy-built with short black hair and was last seen
wearing navy blue shorts. She is on medication.
* Olive Avenue: Police reported a white male with reddish hair
arranged in a ponytail attempted to charge for parking on a bank-owned
lot at the corner of Olive Avenue and 2nd Street at 9:36 a.m. July 4.
* 7th Street: Several young people were reportedly throwing beer
bottles and shooting off skyrockets near a gas station at the corner of
7th Street and Pacific Coast Highway at 12:54 a.m. July 4.
