Myron Van Ness exhibited his model...

Myron Van Ness exhibited his model ships at the 70th Festival of

Arts. One of 140 artists who participated, Van Ness creates his

pieces based on historic blueprints .... Master sculptor and Laguna

College of Art and Design alumnus Tuan received the 2002 Grand Artist

Award from the city of Westminster. Tuan’s 15-foot bronze sculpture

titled, “Vietnam War Memorial,” will be permanently installed at the

Civic Center Park after it is unveiled at Miranda International in

Laguna Beach .... The Laguna Beach Community Clinic will honor Chief

Jim Spreine of the Laguna Beach Police Department as well as Joyce

and Marshall Linn at their annual gala fund-raiser on Sept. 27.

Spreine will be recognized for his dedication and commitment to the

clinic. The Linns are being honored for their time and the

considerable funds that they have contributed. Joyce Linn, who was a

former president of the clinic, also served as the interim director

prior to the hiring of a permanent clinic director.
