The following is from the daily log of the Laguna Beach Police Department from Wednesday, April 11, through Tuesday, April 18.
TUESDAY
So. Coast Highway: At 1:18 a.m., a Laguna Beach woman was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication in the 300 block.
MONDAY
Main Beach: At 8:46 p.m., a Laguna Beach man was arrested on a drug charge, and a Huntington Beach man arrested on warrants, after a knife fight in the 100 block.
So. Coast Highway: At 8:44 p.m., a Westminster man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at Legion Street.
Laguna Canyon Road: At 3:47 p.m., a cut-and-rescue operation was required and injured persons transported to Mission Hospital after a truck rolled over in the 20300
block.
Vista del Sol: At 2:27 p.m., a bee swarm was reported in trees at Coast Highway.
SUNDAY
Main Beach: At 11:56 a.m., a woman was taken into custody after allegedly yelling at people and chasing them near the lifeguard tower on the 100 block of the beach.
SATURDAY
No. Coast Highway: At 6:11 p.m., an injured sea lion was reported in the 100 block of the beach.
Terry Road: At 1:35 p.m., a swarm of bees was reported at a front door and attacking pets in the 2800 block.
Chillon Way: At 11:17 a.m., a coyote was taken into custody after being reported in a backyard in the 2800 block.
FRIDAY
No. Coast Highway: At 11:05 p.m., a Laguna Beach woman was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after being stopped while walking on the highway in the 100 block.
Thalia Street beach: At 8:26 p.m., people were reported camping and sleeping on the beach in the 900 block.
Tia Juana Street: At 5:02 p.m., a 16-foot ladder, worth $100, was reported stolen in the 800 block.
Coast Highway: At 4:29 p.m. an elderly man who fell in an underground parking garage was given medical aid in the 30800 block.
Loretta Drive: At 12: 45 p.m., an anaconda snake was taken into custody in the 600 block.
Coast Highway: At 7:23 p.m., a Dana Point man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at Vista del Sol.
THURSDAY
Coast Highway: At 4:30 p.m., “thousands” of bees were reported in trees at Three Arch Bay.
Laguna Avenue: At 12:53 p.m., police were called because a woman could not remove handcuffs in a toy store in the 100 block.
WEDNESDAY
Victoria Beach: At 3:13 p.m., lifeguards pulled two swimmers out of the ocean in the 2700 block.
Sleepy Hollow Lane: At 1:41 p.m., a person was reported stranded on a boogie board 200 feet out to sea, but it was determined to be a trash can instead, in the 600 block.
Coast Highway: At noon, a pedestrian was taken to the hospital by a private party after being struck by a vehicle in the 31800 block.
Mystic Way: At 8:24 a.m., a mountain lion was reported to have been seen two nights previously at Skyline Drive.
