    RACE AGAINST CANCER

    The American Cancer Society signature activity Relay For Life will be held at El Morro Elementary School, 8681 No. Coast Highway, from 7 p.m. until 7 p.m. Saturday. Relay For Life is a 24-hour walk in honor of people who have survived cancer and in memory of those who have died from it. The event will raise funds to support the fight against the disease.     THRIFT SHOP SALE

    The Assistance League will hold a garage sale behind their Turnabout Thrift Shop, 526 Glenneyre St., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (also Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.). Furniture items that are too large for the league to manage in the shop, such as chairs, lamps, tables and mirrors will be on sale. Donations will be accepted.     ART TOUR

    A tour of Laguna Beach’s public art collection will be held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Docents will lead trolley and walking tours leaving from the Laguna Art Museum, 307 Cliff Drive, every 30 minutes.     CHILDREN’S PLAY

    BEACH CLEANUP

    HelpBlueWater.com hosts its second annual Earth Day Cleanup at Main Beach and Aliso beaches from 8 to 11 a.m. Main Beach will also have an environmental fair near the cobblestone area. The cleanup will extend into canyon, where check-in is at the Sawdust Festival, and the hills, where check-in is at Alta Laguna Park.     YARD SALE

    The Student Volunteers of the South Coast Medical Center Auxiliary will hold a yard sale behind at the South Coast Medical Center, 31872 So. Coast Highway, from 7:30 a.m. to noon.
